Operation What the hell am I doing?
My sewing machine is at least 13 years old….not even sure. I do at least have the manual, but I have no idea what I’m doing! I’m taking a break on this one

I do have proof that I have done it before though….I just don’t remember how.

HAHAHAHA wowie jaybee you sure know how to give a girl a good laugh. did you make that dress?? it looks so technical…i’m still working on sewing in a straight line so i am totally impressed. anytime you need a buttonhole just mail your stuff to one of us; we 100% cheated because our machine has a buttonhole making foot – you just stick the button in it and press the foot pedal and boom!! a perfectly-sized buttonhole.
and i do believe that if you opt to skip the assignment, that means we need a new one!! why don’t you pick since i’ll be out of town for 5 beach-soaked days?!?
also, i heard a rumor that lisa is going to make a blog post before the end of the month, with her specialty of scrapbooking. ooh la la!
Um, yes, I made that dress in my 101 Joann’s class last year. hahaha. I opted for the childrens clothing class and had the choice between that dress or a boys set of shorts and vest. At the time, I didn’t know whether I was having a boy or girl, but what I did know was that I was not dressing any boy of mine in a vest. So, I opted for the girl outfit. Not much better and I doubt I’d put her in it if she is going in public, but I think I was having a premonition on her gender.
My sewing machine has that foot too, but I either put it on wrong or something. I don’t know. I got cranky easy. Maybe it was a case of the Monday’s. I shall try again tomorrow.
ha! you better put that dress on jordan! at least for a picture…things always look better in pictures than in real life…
and small confession…all i had to do was put my button hole foot on, adjust to the size i wanted, and press down on the pedal. it went up, down, over, up, over, down, up, over, and stopped without me pressing or doing anything else…
post lisa, post!
